Hi and welcome to our very first issue of The Shout. As many of you know, the viral success of the Nasty Woman shirt I made was a huge surprise—I woke up, went to work, and thought there was a mistake when I had over 20,000 emails. Creating that shirt changed my life: not only everything that comes with going viral or the feeling I had when I wired the first $100k donation to Planned Parenthood, but also the immense community that grew out of that moment.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. We've designed three new shirts that each giveback to Planned Parenthood, so that all women have access to quality care. To date we've donated over $136k and are on our way to $150k!

Shrill Society was created by women and is 100% women operated and owned. On International Women's Day we're proud to highlight the independent female designers we work with to create change—using design as a tool for protest while also fundraising for non-profits that help women and girls. Today we're highlighting some of our favorites, as well as introducing a few new designs.  A loved design around here is the Venus Tit Tee by Otherwild. Proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood.

When you want a little flair that packs a punch. New to Shrill Society is the Feminist With A To-Do List enamel pin and Breast Friends enamel pin. Proceeds from both benefit Planned Parenthood.    Our Woman In Power tee collaboration with Ellevest supports She Should Run, an organization that prepares women for political office through their incubator program, resources, and growth opportunities. Each purchase gives back $10 to help them reach their goal of getting 250,000 women into political office by 2030.      The Never Underestimate the Power of a Woman tee by prinkshop gives back 30% of proceeds to Kiva, a microlending non-profit that aims to end poverty by helping international borrowers get access to the funds they need.    For Women's History Month we'll be posting 19 mini-essays on Instagram about important American women and the way they've changed history.
